Virtual Physiotherapy from Willow Health!

As restrictions with COVID-19 continue, Willow Health is pleased to now offer Telehealth Physiotherapy.

Telehealth Physiotherapy, also known as Virtual Physiotherapy, is a way to meet with your Physiotherapist through video conferencing.

Virtual Physiotherapy is an excellent way for your Physiotherapist to assess your progress, and provide exercise progressions and therapeutic strategies to help you achieve your wellness goals even while social distancing measures are in place.

Virtual Physiotherapy treatments are covered by most insurance companies in Canada.  We encourage our patients to call their insurance companies directly to ensure their plan covers this service.

We are excited to continue to provide excellence in Physiotherapy services in our community.  These are changing times, and we are pleased to find innovative ways to continue to serve you.

The virtual Physiotherapy sessions will be as easy as logging into your Willow Health profile and clicking a link.  The virtual treatment will be carried out with all privacy measures in place to ensure we comply with the Canada Health privacy laws.

Beginning the week of March 30th, you will be able to book your virtual Physiotherapy appointments online just as you normally would.   Alternatively, you are welcome to call our office and we can help book your appointments and answer any questions you may have.

Looking forward to seeing you again!

Dear Willow Health Centre Valued Clients,

As the Covid-19 situation continues to emerge, Willow Health Centre is dedicated to protecting the health and well-being of our clients and community.  We are passionate about being responsible health care providers and looking out for the best interests of those we serve as well as our city.  Now is the time to work together, to protect and care for the vulnerable people we love by limiting contact and following the guidelines established by Public Health.

As per our recommendations from the Canadian Physiotherapy Association and Public Health, the Willow Health Centre will be closed until March 30, 2020.  Limited physiotherapy services will continue to be available only for acute and urgent patients.

Our staff is happy to help you reschedule appointments.  We will be calling clients this week to help reschedule appointment times.

Acute and urgent patients are invited to call the clinic to confirm a time of treatment.  The clinic will be limited to one Physiotherapist and client at a time to reduce contact, allow for proper and effective cleaning in between clients, and reduce overall contact.  As increased measures to our existing health and safety protocols, we are providing extra hand sanitizing stations throughout the clinic, high-touch equipment will be routinely disinfected throughout the day between clients.  Clients will be screened on entering the clinic to encourage compliance with Public Health’s self-isolation recommendations.  If you are unsure if you are acute or urgent, please call the Centre to speak with a Physiotherapist about your situation.

Willow Health would like to express our sincere gratitude to our clients for their patronage.  Thank you for helping us to limit the spread of this virus.  We look forward to seeing you all again soon.

With our best wishes for health and well-being,

Tegan Vermey, Owner of the Willow Health Centre,
